Hello everyone, Kurisu here! It’s genuinely been a long time since I saw you guys! I hope life has been treating all of you well 🙂
As we move into a new volume of Blood Princess, we’re excited to announce the start of a new era. We’re launching a Patreon to help us keep up with the rising costs of running this project and to allow us to pursue more series and translate more novels.
We’ve poured a lot of time and effort into bringing you the best translations we can, but we’ve also encountered some issues along the way. Keeping the server running and investing the necessary time into this project isn’t sustainable with a donation-based model. Donations for sponsored chapters can only do so much, and the extra stress isn’t conducive to maintaining quality. That’s why we’ve decided to switch to a Patreon-based model, where you can help us support the project on an ongoing basis.
By supporting us on Patreon, you’ll not only be helping us cover server costs and our opportunity cost, but you’ll also be directly enabling us to pursue more series and translate more novels. Patreon supporters will gain access to up to 10 advanced chapters as benefits, as well as sneak peeks and first-hand access to any novel we pick up in the future. We also plan to incorporate goals on a future date that will allow us to commission more fan arts to bring our translations to life. With a new volume and a new start, we hope you’ll join us on this exciting journey by becoming a Patreon supporter!
As for the donation queue, we’ll be phasing it out once the bar is cleared, in other words, we’ll be releasing another chapter probably in the next few weeks to clear the remaining money left in the queue.
