Chapter 95: Follow me~

“You know Lilias?” Anna narrowed her eyes. Tilting her head, she began to size up Ji Bai. He had withdrawn to the corner of the wall with a face filled with alarm and terror.

A strange silence momentarily fell over the scene.

At the same time, Ji Bai had gradually realized that the situation was somewhat amiss. With the piggy bank covering his face, his eyes were incessantly sneaking peeks at the silver-haired loli near him.

‘There’s a problem. It se-seems like this girl isn’t my moth- Ptooey, isn’t that whore.’

Ji Bai shakingly heaved a sigh.

As the features of the girl before Ji Bai were overly similar to a certain wretched vampire in his memories, it had pushed him to enter a state of panic momentarily. Whilst struck with confusion, he had lost his ability to make judgments.

“Mhm…” The two of them were really similar in their appearances; If she was to be placed beside Lilias for others to recognize, they might actually fail to tell them apart. However, after calming down and closely examining her, he found that she wasn’t Lilias at all.

For starters, even though the two of them had silver hair, the color in LIlias’ hair was distinctly purer and the scarlet in her eyes richer. Even though the degree of similarity between them was very high, there were still some tiny differences in their looks that Ji Bai could notice them all at one glance.

Next came temperament. Lilias had a head of long hair braided in the manner of a princess while carrying a beautiful and aloof smile. Her immeasurable, extraordinary and noble temperament would put girls from cultured families to shame.

Well, as for the girl in front of him: Other than the killing intent she momentarily leaked out earlier being immeasurable, the unconcealable scent of an otaku— coupled with the indolent and decadent aura she possessed— nearly caused Ji Bai to suffocate.

The most important point, their chests.

That’s right, there was no doubt that both of their chests were as flat as the flatlands. However, one needed to know that even flat chested girls were divided into tiers too, alright!

If one were to classify flat chested girls into three categories from high to low, it was obvious that the girl in front of him would belong to the second of these three categories. She had an average flat chest that was commonly present in flat-chested girls.

‘As for that Lili-biatch? Hehe, my apologies… She belongs to the sewage drain of the Oppai food chain. To say that she’s completely devoid of any cleavage is an insult to that word itself.’

‘Pfft, haha… That’s too pitiful! As a female vampire, she has virtually zero development whatsoever. Her barren chest, the same as that of a malnourished wasteland, is practically harder than a slab of plate armor! Pfft! I feel sorry for her starving child.’

Ji Bai always had an extreme urge to laugh whenever he thought of this…

“You know Lilias?” Anna’s gaze was fixated on Ji Bai as she repeated her question once more.

“You’re a vampire?!” The distinctive features on Anna’s body awoke Ji Bai’s vigilance once more.

‘Fair skin, pointy ears, silver hair, and scarlet-colored pupils… How many members of vampire royalty are hiding in this school? Especially the type of royalty where a simple look at their hair would indicate an exceptionally close relationship to the royal family?

‘A small T-shirt and a pair of short pantyhoses. This girl is truly casual in her fashion choices…’ However, Ji Bai was uninterested in elementary students.

How could he still not understand what a vampire is? While demons held humans in contempt, vampires were full of disdain for every single other race. As self-proclaimed beings of grandeur, they were unwilling to accept creatures outside their own race as allies of equal footing; Instead, they only accepted vassals that would willingly become slaves—having to surrender and pay allegiance to them.

Of course, they also had the ability to back up their high position.

The concentration of【Divine Vein】that the royalty of the vampire race possessed, far surpassed the chief rankings of demons, leaving the 2nd place light years behind.

The reasons laid in the constitution of the vampires, and the unique way they produced their offsprings.

A virgin embrace would allow an offspring to completely inherit the bloodline of the previous generation. In other words, a vampire coming from a direct line and their ancestors had a seemingly indistinguishable bloodline through that. The vampires worshipped this miracle-like ability as their faith.

In order to consolidate their rule and increase the power of their nation, queens of every generation that were the direct subject of inheritance would confer a number of their trusted aides the title of prince and give birth to their children. That way, the vampires’ density of【Divine Vein】was certainly incomparable to that of the halfbreeds of other races, whose bloodline had been diluted from generation to generation. As such, it was understandable why they thought so highly of themselves.

Unless the direct inheritor encountered some sort of mishap and passed away, the vampire clan position as the number one great clan was unshakeable. This was also the reason why the vampires regarded their direct offsprings as someone with utmost importance above anything else.

“Oh, that reminds me. It seems that Anna still hasn’t introduced herself yet~ My apologies.” Anna straightened out her expression and made a salute while twirling the corners of her skirt.

These dignified lady-like manners made it seem like she had turned into another person.

“My name is Lilianna Lasombra, the present Chivalric Head of the Moon Knights. May I know what your purpose is for coming here? And your identity too?” Anna folded her hands over her lower belly as she adopted a standard ladylike stance.

‘As I thought, another person whose last name is Lasombra…’

Ji Bai’s complexion turned somewhat unfriendly. Even though he knew the demons in this school are abnormal and wouldn’t actively attack people, his mind was secretly calculating his odds of winning against her.

‘I guess I’d better let it go. If possible, I really don’t want to antagonize a vampire that has such an appearance… It’s definitely not because I’ve been beaten scared by that bitch Lilias, alright!!’

“…If I remember correctly, you were the one that called me here, no??’

“Hmm? Anna is the one that called you here? …Oh, so you’re that extremely badass new student, right? I believe your name is-, is… J-Ji Hong??” Anna tilted her head.

“Ji Bai.” Ji Bai corrected her grumpily. “It’s extremely rude to misremember someone’s name in a public setting. On the occasion you have missed or forgotten someone’s name, you should refer to them as ‘Miss’ or ‘Mr’, or even address them as ‘your distinguished self’.  Afterward, you should put some keywords in your sentences to let the other party understand and report their names themselves. Also, your attitude must be sincere and your tone meek and elegant without carrying the slightest amount of indolence in it. This is the elegant demeanor that every lady should possess, get it!”

After he finished his words, Anna was stunned while Ji Bai fell into deep thoughts.

‘Why did I uncontrollably say such a thing out loud!?’

“…My dear student, Ji Bai… Do you have some sort of understanding towards vampire etiquette, or is there any etiquette over on the humans’ end that has similarities to that of vampires?” Anna had a face full of doubts. Ji Bai’s words had made her recall her mother’s previous teachings; They had been unceasing and overbearing, the same as his words.

“Ehh… It’s indeed this way on the humans’ side. I have a higher expectation personally, so don’t mind it…” Ji Bai looked into the distance.

“Oh…In that case, is it possible to answer Anna’s question now? Do you know Lilias, Ji Bai?”

“…I don’t want to recognize her.”

“Haha.” Anna smiled in a mysterious manner. As she jumped down the sofa, her feet which were wrapped in knee socks landed on the floor.

“May I ask Mr Ji Bai to follow me~” With one hand on her chest, Anna formed an impeccable noble salute. Hints of a smile emerged on her cute, child-like face as two fangs revealed themselves in the corners of her mouth.
